Gateway Leather Guild was formed in 1996 by a group of enthusiastic leather artisans in an effort to support and encourage the art of leather craftsmanship.
Current members from Missouri and Illinois share a wide variety of skills and interests with each other that include belt-making, saddle making, leather tooling, holsters, lamps, stock whips, cases, medieval items and many other leather goods.
We welcome you to join us whether you have years of leatherwork experience or you’re just starting to enjoy the feel of leather in your hands! Come see what our meetings can offer you. Enjoy presentations from members and guests, and participate in group activities and discussions.
