IFoLG Events

We want to invite you to IFoLG events. Our guild belongs to and enjoys the benefits of the International Federation of Leather Guilds. Throughout the year guilds hold local events as well as the annual IFoLG show.

2019

Important updates:

Schedule of events is updated to the calendar part of the site.  In case anyone wants to know what time events are happening before you get here.

Notification that there is a 12 dollar per day fee for parking if you are not staying at the hotel.

     * Pre registration for Workshops is closed.  You can still attend classes, but will need to pay cash at the door.
 
Tandy is sponsoring Jim Linnell's Swivlel Knife Finessee Workshop on Saturday, September 14th.  The workshop is free, but you must pre register and the class size is limited to 30 students due to the room limitations.  Currently 18 registered.
 
All classes have at least 2 seats available at this time.
 
 
The show will be SEPTEMBER 11-15, 2019 at the RENAISSANCE HOTEL St. Louis, Missouri. View and Print the 2019 Show Registration Form
 
The hotel is very close to the airport.  Has a free shuttle from the airport and has a metrolink point right across the street to travel around St. Louis.  There is a restaurant onsite and many restaurants and shopping areas close by.

HERMANN OAK TOUR:

On Friday morning the Bus is loading at 0730 with plan to leave before 0800 to head to the tannery.  Once again- old shoes recommended!

Hermann Oak has decided to provide lunch for those on the tour and will be giving leather in a size that will fit in suitcases to travel home to tour goers.

 

Competition:

Competition is open to any Ifolg guild members.  Information on where to send items and preregistration is on the below forms.  Items can be placed into competition on Friday from 12-5 pm.  Juding will start at 7 pm.  Thank you to everyone who has responded to my email volunteering to be a judge or scribe.

2010

Our guild, the Gateway Leather Guild, hosted the 2010 International Federation of Leather Guilds Show in St. Louis, Missouri.
