IFoLG Events

We want to invite you to IFoLG events. Our guild belongs to and enjoys the benefits of the International Federation of Leather Guilds. Throughout the year guilds hold local events as well as the annual IFoLG show.

The show will be SEPTEMBER 11-15, 2019 at the RENAISSANCE HOTEL St. Louis, Missouri. View and Print the 2019 Show Registration Form
The Room rates are the same as 2010 at $110 per night.  The hotel is going to give us a link that will go live January 1st so that you can book directly online.  Click the link to: Book your group rate for Gateway Leather Guild.
The hotel is very close to the airport, has a metrolink point right across the street to travel around St. Louis.  There is a restaurant onsite and many restaurants and shopping areas close by.
The hotel has guaranteed these room rates until August 1st then any unreserved rooms will go back to the hotel and this rate many not be available.
We have reached out to instructors and are seeking others.  As usual, workshops will be able to start on Wednesday and continue through Saturday.  Please download the attached form in your preferred format (MS word or PDF).  You can fill out electronically and attach the MSWord file or Print one for each workshop, fill out by hand and mail to Tom at tww1691@gmail.com or Tom Whieldon 9908 Drum Hill Rd.  Mascoutah, IL 62258.  Instructor Workshop Submission Form MS Word | Instructor Workshop Submission Form PDF
We will begin posting workshops as soon as possible.  Once we post the workshop schedule and listing we will also post the student forms.  Students will send forms and check to Tom at this address.
We will accept registration and Banquet forms until August 1
On Friday there will be a limited space available "working" tour of the Hermann Oak Tannery.  We will rent a bus that can take 40 people to the tannery for this tour.  The cost will be $20 to cover the bus as there is not parking at the Tannery.  There are some steep steps to the top floor of the tannery to the drying rooms that are NOT handicap acessible as the Tannery has been in business in the same building since the 1880's.  You are welcome to take the tour and wait on the first or second floors if you can not make these stairs.  I would suggest that if you intend to take the tour to bring old shoes.  There is often tanning solution and water on the floor when you are on the first floor.  Tour will be first come/first paid list sign up.
Currently 33/40 spots filled for the tour

If you would be interessted in being a vendor please email:  Truman at      truleathermaker@gmail.com
